Clinton National Airport Central Utility Plant and Electrical Yard

This project includes a new 24,000 SF free-standing mechanical room and comprises of specialized provisions for seamless connections to future development phases and expansions. Plans include robust foundations for upcoming jet bridges, as well as enhancements to the apron area to accommodate increased aircraft operations.

The Electrical Yard project involved the installation of new medium voltage utility entrances, which will support three additional 2.5MW generators. These generators are accompanied by comprehensive fuel systems designed to ensure efficient operation. Furthermore, medium voltage distribution is integrated into the existing electrical systems, enabling seamless connectivity. To maintain compatibility with current operations, transformers are utilized to preserve the existing 480V systems. This overall enhancement aims to improve the reliability and capacity of the electrical infrastructure.
