Fort Smith Public School Indoor Air Quality Improvements

Clark Contractors recently completed indoor air quality improvements at two middle schools for Fort Smith Public Schools. The project involved the removal and replacement of 14 rooftop units at each school, along with the installation of new building automation controls for enhanced efficiency and climate management.

Additionally, the scope included the construction of a new pre-engineered metal building for the district’s cold and dry storage needs, as well as a classroom addition at Ramsey Middle School. These improvements were part of a larger district-wide initiative aimed at enhancing air quality through advanced filtration, ventilation, and disinfection systems, prioritizing the oldest equipment and most populated buildings.
