Clark Contractors is proud to partner with South Arkansas College on the construction of Bill Howard Baseball Park, a major addition to the college’s West Campus and the new home of the SouthArk Stars baseball program. Positioned along the southern edge of campus, the ballpark serves as both an athletics venue and a welcoming gateway to future campus growth.

The field features a full synthetic turf playing surface designed for all-weather durability and reduced maintenance. A signature 30-foot wall in left field adds character to the park and introduces a strategic challenge reminiscent of iconic major-league stadiums. In right field, a large video board enhances the fan experience with real-time game content and event programming.

Spectator areas are designed to create a close connection to the field, with high-protection netting and a compact backstop layout that puts fans right in the action. A hospitality suite offers elevated views of the field and provides flexible space for campus events, meetings, or private game-day gatherings. On-field locker rooms and team dugouts are seamlessly integrated with support areas to create a streamlined environment for athletes and staff.

Bill Howard Baseball Park strengthens SouthArk’s athletic offerings while enhancing student life, school spirit, and community engagement. Paired with the nearby Howard Hall residential facility, it marks a bold step forward in the continued development of the college’s West Campus.
