University of Arkansas at Fort Smith Student Recreation & Wellness Center

Located on the southwest corner of the university’s campus, the 48,000 SF Student Recreation and Wellness Center includes a multi-purpose gymnasium, climbing wall, cardiovascular areas, mind/body studio, and spin studio. A three-lane elevated jogging track runs the perimeter of the building, giving users a glimpse of the other interior spaces and views of the exterior campus quad.

The ground floor includes two basketball courts, men’s and women’s locker/shower rooms, free weight/selectorized weight areas, and equipment storage and rental. There are also different areas for stretching and private exercise located throughout the building. The facility includes offices, a conference room, as well as all associated support spaces.
