University of Arkansas at Monticello Forest Health Research Laboratory Center

The University of Arkansas’ new 20,850 SF research center consists of several private lab spaces, including a pathology research lab, an Entomology lab, and a DNA/RNA research lab spanning over an area of 3,380 square feet. Additionally, the research center features smart teaching labs for biology and chemistry covering 5,700 square feet, sample storage of 900 square feet that includes freezers, walk-in coolers, ovens, a growth and insect chamber, and a conference center of 2,250 square feet that can accommodate up to 150 people. The research portion of the facility requires backup power generation as well as a centralized deionized water, gas, and air.
