The engaging 256-room dual-branded AC Hotel + Residence Inn Dallas is in the heart of Dallas Midtown. The 169,843 SF, five-story property boasts more than 14,000 SF of combined meeting space, a three-level garage, and anchors a new $3.5 billion mixed-use development.
The hotel has a dramatic modern front with a twisted white grid. The facility’s unique facade was conceived as a lightweight latticework that visually levitates above the hotel’s public square, transforming under north light throughout the day. The lattice covers the transparent lobby and lounge between the public pedestrian realm and the bamboo-lined pool courtyard. The construction of the latticework facade relied heavily on a precisely fabricated metal rain-screen cladding system which required a high degree of manual fabrication.
AC Hotel + Residence Inn Dallas by the Galleria is one of the first buildings completed in the Dallas Midtown planned development.
