Silverlake Office Building in Grapevine, Texas is a 4 Story, 82,000 SF office building core and shell. Located in Silverlake Crossings, the project also involved an 18,684 SF tenant finish out for NewcrestImage’s Corporate Office. Interior finishes included high-end Italian millwork and an extensive amount of interior glazing.

This project was completed using tilt-up construction, a method of construction where a series of concrete panels are tilted up into place to form the building’s exterior walls. First the panels were cast at the site on the foundation slab using wooden forms, rebar, and concrete.

The panels for Silverlake were unique in their sheer size since the building is four-stories tall. Once solidified, the panels were tilted into place with a sizeable crane and temporarily braced while the interior structural components were built.
