The AECI Operation Homefront – Little Rock Distribution Center is an 84,700 SF facility designed to support logistics, testing, and operational functions for Arkansas Electric Cooperative, Inc. Located on the south end of the campus, the building connects directly to Scott Hamilton Drive via Electric Avenue to allow efficient truck and vendor access.

The program elements include an 8,760 SF High Voltage Test Lab for specialized equipment testing, 5,910 SF of office space for administrative and operational staff, and 50,000 SF of dedicated material storage. Additional support areas include integrated shipping, receiving, and dock functions. A 15,000 SF covered drive-through canopy provides outdoor storage and flatbed truck loading.

The facility occupies land formerly used for a solar array and training substation, which were removed to optimize building placement. The existing Safety Building remains in place near the front of the site. The overall layout enhances material flow, accommodates specialized testing needs, and provides long-term flexibility within AECI’s operational infrastructure.
