This project represents a major investment in the university’s athletics program, focused on elevating the student-athlete experience while modernizing existing facilities within the Elvan George Building. Working closely with university leadership and the design team, Clark delivered a high-quality renovation aligned with ECU’s goals for performance, functionality, and visual impact. The scope includes a complete renovation of the football locker room with approximately 140 custom lockers featuring integrated LED displays, along with upgraded flooring, finishes, and lighting throughout.

Adjacent spaces were also expanded and modernized, including the athletic training room with new hydrotherapy tubs, updated showers and restrooms, and improved team lounge and equipment areas. Construction was carefully phased to minimize disruption to campus operations and athletics schedules, with a focus on quality control, trade coordination, and proactive communication. The completed project provides a modern, efficient environment that supports athlete performance, recruitment, and the continued success of East Central University’s football program.
